Return and Refund Policy

Returns

Our return policy is valid for 30 days from the date of delivery. If more than 30 days have passed, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility for a Return

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be strictly met:

  • The item must be in like-new condition. Light testing is acceptable, but the product must be clean, undamaged, and fully functional. There should be no scratches, dents, wear, or signs of misuse.

  • It MUST be returned in the original packaging. No exceptions. No excuses.
    This includes all foam inserts, cardboard dividers, plastic wrapping, and any custom-fit compartments. The original packaging is specifically designed to protect the item during transit.
    Returns in any other packaging will be rejected under all circumstances.

  • For products shipped in multiple boxes or with multiple components, all boxes and original protective materials must be returned. Partial or incomplete packaging will not be accepted.

  • Products that were assembled must be fully disassembled before returning and repacked with all original accessories, components, tools, manuals, and inserts in their respective boxes.

  • We ship items in new, undamaged condition. Any returned item must come back in the same pristine, resellable condition in which it was delivered.

  • If a product is damaged, chipped, scratched, or otherwise compromised due to improper packing or missing packaging, it will be deemed non-returnable. No exceptions. No excuses.

  • It is the customer's responsibility to retain the original packaging for the duration of the return window. We cannot provide replacement packaging.

Unauthorized Returns

Returns sent without prior written approval will be rejected, and no refund will be issued.

Return Process

Before returning an item, you must:

  1. Contact us at info@shogunsports.com with your order number and full name in the subject line.

  2. Include clear photos of the item and its original packaging to verify condition and completeness.

  3. Wait for our written return approval and instructions before shipping the item.

  4. Ship the item using a tracked service with insurance.
    You are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.

We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages during return transit. We strongly recommend insuring the shipment.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email to confirm whether your refund has been approved or denied.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

If the return was due to a refused delivery, an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, or failure to collect the item, your refund will be issued after the return has been inspected and processed, and will reflect a deduction for the original and return shipping costs.

We do not charge restocking fees. However, refunds are only issued for items that meet all return requirements in full.

Issues with Refunds

If you have not received your refund within 7 to 10 business days of approval:

  • Check your bank or credit card statement.

  • Contact your financial institution to verify if a delay is in place.

  • If you’ve done this and still don’t see your refund, please email us at info@shogunsports.com.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are final and cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need an exchange for the same item, contact us first with photos and order details at info@shogunsports.com.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return once it is approved.
If the item was not marked as a gift or was shipped to the gift giver, the refund will go to the original purchaser.

Returns must be securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
We are not liable for returns that arrive damaged due to poor repacking or missing packaging.

Final Notes

  • Items must not be altered in any way, including painted, drilled, cut, or modified.

  • All original components, accessories, manuals, and tools must be included.

  • We reserve the right to deny any return that does not meet the above requirements.

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including cases where:

    • The order is refused upon delivery

    • The shipment fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address

    • The package is not collected and is returned to sender
      Refunds in these cases will be issued only after inspection and will reflect any applicable shipping deductions.
